The Mixing & Mastering Award is an excellent three month package for more advanced producers who want to be able to complete the recording process independently. A good mix can lift your tracks and learning how to master them yourself will put you in an even stronger position – without being reliant on other sound engineers. A student will learn and implement the process of mixing his or her own track with our mix engineer, then learn how to master the same track with our mastering engineer. - Using Effects – to colour Vocals and make them sit… extreme vs. subtle applications.
- Using Emulation Plugins of Classic Gear: Tape/Tubes etc.
- Guitar FX Processing.
- Fade Application.
- Compression on guitars
- Compression on synths and eq.
- Using Effects – Reverb / Delay / Chorus / Modulation to colour sounds.
